Dance performance "sold out" at the theater
Last Friday and last night, Dançando com a Diferença - Viseu took the stage at Teatro Viriato Theatre to present "Endless", a choreography by Henrique Amoedo, artistic director of the group and resident artist in the aforementioned house of performances.
The performance sold-out two rooms. This remake of "Endless", showed in Viseu, created special aspects for the municipality of Viseu, for the theater and also for Dançando com a Diferença. It was the first time Dançando com a Diferença - Viseu was on stage showing one of the choreographies of the repertoire of Dançando com a Diferença - Madeira, in a totally accessible performance. Audio-description, information material and room sheets in Braille, interpreters of Portuguese Sign Language, in a room accessible to people with reduced mobility, were the resources made available.
Breaking barriers was the great motto defined by Henrique Amoedo and Paula Garcia, general director and programming director of the Teatro Viriato, when they decided together with Ricardo Meireles, coordinator of Dançando com a Diferença - Viseu, for the remake of this work.
On stage were more than 40 dancers from Viseu, a small group of dancers from Dançando com a Diferença - Madeira, as well as a member from Lisbon and another from Recife (Brazil). The band from the city of Viseu "Com Cordas" was responsible for all the live music.
