Henrique Amoedo in residence at Teatro Viriato

On Sunday, July 22nd, the Artistic Director of the Dançando com a Diferença Group, Henrique Amoedo, will begin another artistic residence at Teatro Viriato in the city of Viseu. During the period of one week, the well-known choreographer will be at the local theater working with the structure and students of the Viseu nucleus of the Dançando com a Diferença group, where he will outline with the local monitors pedagogical intervention strategies and projects of cultural interest for the next work period.

Henrique Amoedo has been a resident artist at Teatro Viriato since January 2017, where he has been developing, together with this structure, projects and cultural interventions with great impact in the field of Inclusive Dance and works in the Viseu community.

One of the projects developed during this period was the creation of the group Dançando com a Diferença - Viseu, which since September 2017 has been presented as a collaboration between the Dançando com a Diferença structure and Teatro Viriato, with the support of the Viseu Local Council for Social Action.
