Inclusive Dance as a concept by Dançando com a Diferença embraces methodologies in Dance developed by Henrique Amoedo, the company's artistic director.
In the context of this company, Inclusive Dance is the reflection of the professional and academic trajectory of the project's mentor and artistic director, who has been developing works of this nature between Brazil and Portugal since 1996.

In the contemporary performing arts scene, Inclusive Dance has contributed to the valorization of the artistic capacities and skills of dancers with disabilities. Dançando com a Diferença disseminates Inclusive Dance through its works circulating throughout Brazil and abroad. This company is distinguished by its work in structural areas of intervention, taking into account the heterogeneity of the repertoire casts and the social and pedagogical activities carried out, regardless of the type of disability.

The inherent methodologies conciliate knowledge from different areas: personal development, disability, rehabilitation and Dance, in order to provide the global development of abilities and specific competences in Dance of all the dancers with the purpose of their professionalization. The basic training of the dancer is enriched with the contributions of different teachers and creators invited by the company.

In the near future, it is hoped to replicate the practices of Dançando com a Diferença in different cities in Portugal and abroad.
